RtI (Response to Intervention)
RtI uses a multi tier model of screening, interventions, and data driven decision making to improve student achievement. The district uses core curriculum that is research based and instruction is differentiated within the core to meet a broad range of student needs. Universal screening is done to identify student proficiency levels multiple times per year. Teachers analyze data, set goals, and adjust instruction and/or implement interventions as needed. This problem solving approach is ongoing resulting in dynamic changes to the instructional and intervention processes.
